First of all, I want to make the following statement to clarify legal questions:
1.The information I have collected here is for educational purposes, to inform people interested in taking care of their bodies.
2. Most of my resources are medical or wellness-related websites and books, or sources that include medical trials and findings, or products beneficial for wellness and prostate function.
3. This is NOT a sexual service contracted for in exchange of money as described in Va Code § 18.2-346, but part of a program for men's wellbeing and stress management.
4. I have dedicated the past 4 years of my life to medical research and training, helping find solutions from a wellness-oriented standpoint.
5. I use prostate massage as a therapeutic tool for increasing wellness and as stress management, alongside aromatherapy and nutritional consultations and other therapies that increase awareness or provide relief from stress. In my practice, prostate massage is not a separate service, but an integral part of offering maximum care for my clients. It should be used as a maintenance program for a healthy body or prevention program for cancer.

1. Historical background of prostate problems and cancer:
Looking back 20 to 30 years, it was men in their late 50's and early 60's that were first diagnosed with enlarged prostates, and later in life developed prostate cancer.
In the past 10 years, this age group has become the men in their late 30's and early 40's. Why is that???
Well, believe it or not, changes in our lifestyles have a lot to do with it.
--too much worktime, not enough family time,
--sedentary lifestyle (driving everywhere instead of walking), lack of physical exercise
-- irregular eating habits like fast food or late meals,
-- pesticides in our foods that the body cannot eliminate, lack of vitamins and nutrients in fruits and vegetables,
--environmental influences like air pollution and exhausts from the roads and highways,
--social influences like financial worries and lack of job stability (lay-offs, downsizing in corporations), working in unsatisfying work relationships.
2. Many of these influences cause stress on the body, the mind, the heart, the organs. The body has several natural defense mechanisms to help deal with some of these stressors.
One of the things I learned early when I started looking into the field of stress management was the fact that when our body or mind or our emotions are attacked for prolonged time, and there is no relief or solution to the problem or situation, the body finds a way to shut down the functions not necessary to deal with stress (i.e. find the solution to the problem).
One of the first functions to be shut off is our reproductive system. This is valid for men as much as for women.
3. I have compiled the following website links for educational purposes, please read the information, so you can make an informed decision whether this is something you would like to pursue or not.
